To get to the road, travel 13 miles on Castle Creek Road from the roundabout near Aspen. The intersection and small parking area is on the right (2 miles past Ashcroft). The road is on the left fork with a road closed sign and rock barricade preventing vehicles from passing. The right fork leads to Montezuma Basin Road (FSR #102) and Pearl Pass Road (FSR #102).
