Dinkle Lake Road (FSR #311) is an easy dirt road you can hike, run and mountain bike that is dog friendly. This is a 2.5 mile dirt road near Basalt (via West Sopris Creek Road) and Carbondale (via Prince Creek Road).
The road starts at the top of where Prince Creek Road and West Sopris Creek Road meet. The road is 2 miles to the Thomas Lakes/Mount Sopris Trail parking area and the road continues another 0.5 miles to Dinkle Lake.
