The Dick and Miggs Durrance memorial chair on Aspen Mountain

The Durrance Memorial is an old chairlift dedicated to Dick and Miggs Durrance. A plaque on the back of the chairlift reads: “In Loving Memory of Dick and Miggs Durrance – For whom this mountain and this town were a dream that came true.” The shrine is located at the top of the F.I.S. Lift on Aspen Mountain.
