East Rim Trail, also called East Rim Loop, is a difficult trail you can hike, run, and mountain bike that is dog friendly. There is a long and short loop. From the top of Aspen Mountain the East Rim Short Loop is a 2 mile trail loop that returns to the Silver Queen Gondola. The long loop, wraps around the east side of Aspen Mountain connecting with the Aspen Mountain Summer Road and the West Side Trail to head back to the top of Aspen Mountain.
