The East Snowmass Trail #1977 is a difficult trail you can hike, run, and horseback ride that is dog friendly. This is a 8.5 mile dirt trail that follows East Snowmass Creek in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness near Snowmass Village, CO.
To get to the Snowmass side trailhead from Snowmass Village, travel up Brush Creek Road and turn right on Divide Road. Travel 1 mile up the road toward Krabloonik Restaurant & Dog Sledding. The road then, Divide Way, turns left and heads down the Snowmass Ski Area for 1.4 miles. Head straight, past the intersection with Snowmass Creek Road, for a short ways and the trailhead is on the left.
