The John Denver Meadowlands Trail is a path in Windstar through the nature preserve that you can hike, run, and horseback ride. This is a 957-acre property in Old Snowmass, CO. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.

In accordance with the property’s conservation easement, public access is limited to hiking, horseback riding, and cross country skiing only on designated roads and trails. Wandering off designated roads and trails is prohibited.
Trail hours are sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise posted.
Trails may be closed for agricultural and wetland operations, seasonally to protect wildlife and for maintenance.
No horses allowed December 1 through April 15
Dogs are prohibited
No vehicles allowed
Violators will be prosecuted”
This trail is 4-5 miles RT from the parking area. Easy trail with beautiful views of Mt. Sopris.
