North Fork Trail, also called North Fork Lake Creek Trail, is an intermediate/moderate trail you can hike, run, and horseback ride that is dog friendly. This is a 4 mile dirt trail in the Mt. Massive Wilderness by Independence Pass near Aspen, CO.

To get to the trailhead from Aspen, travel up Independence Pass Road (HWY 82). From the top of Independence Pass (12,095 ft) stay on the road and continue east winding down the road 4.5 miles to a sharp left turn. The trailhead is up ahead following the North Fork of Lake Creek.
