A collaborative effort between the Roaring Fork Conservancy and the Park East Homeowner’s Association has placed the natural hillside in a conservation easement, protecting the area forever. The conservation easement boundary extends from the trail down to the river.
In addition, a special trail easement made it possible to connect the Glenwood Springs Trail to Park East. The City of Glenwood Springs partnered with the Roaring Fork Conservancy and the Park East Homeowner’s Association to bring you this magnificent opportunity to experience the Roaring Fork River.
