Every time I have walked this trail, I come across large groups Latino men, drinking heavily, seemingly “guarding” the entrance. Farther ahead, there is usually a group of high school kids drinking or getting high. Graffiti/carvings, garbage, bottles, condoms, cigarette butts and empty marijuana containers litter many areas along this trail.
