The Prince Creek Trails near Carbondale

Carbondale, CO – Recreation Area

Prince Creek, also called the Prince Creek Trails, is a network of trails you can hike, run, and mountain bike that are dog friendly. These are a series of unmarked trails on The Crown near Basalt (up West Sopris Creek Road (CR 6)) and near Carbondale (up Prince Creek Road (CR 5)).

Note: The Crown is closed to bikes Dec. 1 – April 15. An exception to the bike closure allows for winter fat bikes on lower Prince Creek trails (South Porcupine Trail and below).

Father of Ginormous Trail (Downhill Only) – 0.70 Miles
Ginormous Trail – 0.3 Miles

Monte Carlo Trail – 1.7 Miles
Outie Trail – 2.4 Miles
Plunge Trail (Downhill Only) – Less Than A Mile
Porcupine Trail – 3.7 Miles
