The South Canyon is an area west of Glenwood Springs where recreational trails are being developed. The area is currently known for its shooting range and landfill. The South Canyon trails are currently in construction with some parts open to the public.

Lightning Bug Trail – 1.73 Miles (In Construction)
Coal Camp Loop Trail – 3.07 Miles (In Construction)
