The power of people is amazing. If no one visits this site, no one types aspentrailfinder.com into a url, poof! It’s gone, finished, done. We’d close these digital doors and blast this pile of pages and pixels to a dustbin dumped in cyberspace. But, a 300% increase in visitors over the last year has us thinking that might not be necessary.
The goal of this site is to help share this amazing area with others. If someone is looking for something in this special place, we hope to help them find it. We’ve built an online resource where the collective knowledge of the community is greater than any single individual’s. And if you are reading this, have used this site before, or follow our adventures on social media, you’ve contributed!
2015 was an amazing year for Aspen Trail Finder, our second with the site live. You can’t go back and become an early adopter. You can’t go back and be one of the first 100 people to follow us. This site is used by thousands of people and thousands more follow on social media. It started small, was built by one guy, spread almost entirely by word-of-mouth and grassroots marketing. Now, we’ve created something special here. Thank you to everyone who has visited the site, shared the site with others, and follows Aspen Trail Finder on social media!
We hope you find a new awe-inspiring hike, run, ride, or your own happy place in 2016. Really, we hope you share that feeling of amazement and discovery with someone else.
